“Caspian…I have loved you since the first time I saw you. When you were just a little boy, with that serious face and the determination in your eyes. I have loved you since you came through my window for the very first time asking me to play with you. Ever since you gifted me with my first kiss, and even though we were just kids, the love that I felt for you was wiser and beyond our years. I love the way you challenge me, and the way you look at me, like no one ever has. And I love the way you love me, so purely and unconditionally. I can not even start to imagine my life without you. My best friend. Through my most frightening darkness and my deepest secrets, there’s always been you. Finding me. And saving me. You taught me to trust, and what truly means to fall in love. I cannot describe how much i love you, so I will tell you why…” She gave him a simple shrug. “You see the world in a way that no one else does, and you appreciate everything, every little detail, including me. I promise to respect you and adore you, and be faithful to you and to always believe in your dreams even when you don’t. I promise to speak when words are needed, and to share the silence when they are not.” Her voice began to break, a smile on her face and tears ready to slip down, she gave a small, soft laugh, a tear slipping. “I’m so terribly in love with you. And if you say yes right now, I will spend the rest of my life trying to see the world through your eyes. Appreciating everything, every…little…detail, including you. The most unique, wonderful, incredibly handsome man I have ever known and my best friend.”
Caspian laughed a little and smiled his eyes shinning with happiness and love, her words sinking into his brain and heart, his heart racing and his head spinning since he wasn’t able to wrap his head around the fact that they were finally getting married.
Caspian cleared his throat and rocked once on his feet.
“Well considering you already read my vows to you I shall go over them once again, Odette I love you, I need you and you are my best friend, god I cannot even explain how much you mean to me, for no words can describe my love for you, many can be said but none are enough to describe what I feel for you. Ever since we were small you have been that rude little girl my mother made me play with… who after a few years I became to love deeply, who I came to want to protect and care for more than my own self. Odette, I swear on my life nothing shall miss from your life, I will not let anything come between us and if anything does I will break that wall and make this love last, for I know that this is true love” He smiled rolling his eyes at what he said “In the end I do not find the words to say and don’t wish to mumble anymore… for I believe three words will suffice… I love you” He said his eyes shinning and then looked at Demirk with a goofy smile
“Yeah yeah very romantic, with the power vested in me I now pronounce you man and wife, good luck with him dear” He said and laughed “You may now kiss… your bride” He said winking at Caspian with a smile
Caspian smiled and leaned over kissing Odette putting a hand on her neck and the other around her waist pulling her in as he kissed her sweetly but passionately.
She never ceased smiling and laughed a bit at the memories. Then she closed her eyes, placing her hands on his chest and kissing him back with the same tenderness and passion. She smiled against the kiss and placed a hand around his neck, grabbing the collar of his shirt, and whispering against his lips, “I love you.”
